Three generations of the family have succeeded to change their wine and adapt work practices and distribution in a spirit that has not changed. A philosophy based on fun, family, respect and good humor around a cohesive team. All vintages are drawn from grapes harvested and sorted by hand. Enjoy the Cotes du Luberon white wine The Luberonne 2007, where hints of flowers white and nutty, mouth flexible and strong at once, with the final grades ripe pineapple, wine bright and bold both, really successful. The Cotes du Luberon wine Luberonne The Red 2007, a vintage high 12 months in barrels of oak, with subtle notes of humus and small fruit overripe red is a rich wine, full in the mouth, very affordable. The 2006 is fleshy and aromatic, purple dress and bright at powerful nose dominated by red currant, lead to a stew. Their wine bar is a friendly place where you can nibble, which is a great opportunity to take a break in this beautiful area.

Madness Black Jesus seizes Quiapo

They all wanted to approach, touch, or just caress. This coveted statue winding through a seething sea of heads and outstretched arms, made its way amid a difficult neighborhood in agitations, by this holy day. We were
Sunday, January 9. Like every year at this time, the Savior Jesus made his rare appearance on the streets of Quiapo, one of the oldest districts of Manila, the population density already exceeds the bearable. And challenged beliefs, had catalyze all hopes of a people as desperate as spiritual.

This Jesus is not only savior. It was saved. Saved from the flames engulfed the boat carrying him from Acapulco in the 17th century, and was unable to complete its journey to Manila, the former English colonial city. This wooden statue had miraculously survived the inferno, and it remains to this image, as a mark of this incredible event, that swarthy Jesus is black! It is called to Quiapo "The Black Nazarene," and it surely drraine more crowds than Bob Marley in its heyday.

Getting in this crowd is, therefore, the Olympic feat, even if the Olympics included the inhuman ordeal of traveling in a compressed crowd that converges in streets close to a small tank.

Police say more than 7 million people are at any given in the streets of Quiapo, during the procession at snail's pace, which lasted over 12 hours. All these people came for one reason: Jesus touch this miracle, and thereby, be touched by the grace of the miracle. Some believe this gesture to be cured of their disease, other, more prosaically, to win the lottery.

All are filled with great hope that lead them to defy reason and flirting with danger in this stubbornness: this year, 700 people were treated to fainting, fractures or other injuries. In other years, several people died trying to be saved.

When they can not get on the faithful to go directly touch the statue, they send towels that come into contact, and they are returned. The contact is indirect, it seems, accredited by the highest federal authorities of the sport spirit.

And many other churches in Manila, but also other surrounding cities, also come with their black Jesus, supposed to bring a lot of miracles. Of course, the most valiant after all this procession ... barefoot and celebrate the passage of the effigy and shouted "Viva!

Join the crowd and his passion ...

And the lucky ones who came to touch the Lord bear few scars ... exhaustion.

Medoc wines that rely Like

Burdigalia Ancient Romans became the middle of the twelfth century capital of Guienne before belong to the British who held it for two centuries. In 1152, the second marriage of Eleanor of Guienne with Henry Plantagenet, Duke of Normandy, Count of Anjou, tightened links Bordeaux-English at the throne of England became the Count of Anjou Henry II in 1154 . Thus, Bordeaux became English subjects, French sat at the court of England and the wine trade with that country intensified. Richard I said "Lion Heart", eldest son of Eleanor of Aquitaine and Henry II lived in Bordeaux and was a big fan of wines. His brother, John Lackland, took under its protection the Bordeaux merchants and regulations on the date of sale of wine: November and December. The wine in barrel, there was then no method of preservation, as it was the youngest wine sold best. The old wine is distributed to the poor. The decrees favored English more so than the Bordeaux merchants of other cities solicited their input in these elected Aquitaine.

During the Hundred Years War, the burghers of Bordeaux were supportive of the English they enjoyed privileges. Guyenne yet tried to detach from the use of English. That's when the British general Talbot, from a Norman family, attacked and took Bordeaux but was killed in a battle before Castillon, 17 July 1453. This century warrior ended and returned to Bordeaux in France. The vineyards are spread around the city of Bordeaux and is enriched at the point of using his power to prevent the wine of the Medoc to load their wines along the Gironde. This "privilege of Bordeaux," or economic blockade, abolished only in 1776, was behind the disappearance of many vintages. The use of wine is spreading increasingly, also the excesses, then Francis I decreed in 1536 that "anyone found drunk will be immediately thrown into prison and put on bread and water". In case of recidivism, was the whip. In the third misstep, even the whip, but in public, and if the culprit was caught a fourth time was the amputation of one ear. It began to learn to drink in the sixteenth century under Henri III. The practice was that glass of wine, at the bottom of which was placed a grilled crouton, might pass from hand to hand until the person to honor. It emptied the glass and then ate the crust called "tostee. The origin of the word toast comes from there. The wine trade in Bordeaux enjoyed some quiet when exports were halted to England. The Methuen Treaty, signed between England and Portugal, taxed heavily French wines. A fee of 55 pounds per ton was imposed when he was only 7 pounds per ton for Portuguese wines. This enormous tax swung shipments of "claret" to the Dutch ships were coming in hundreds every year to collect the new wine. Wine storage became easier with the advent of blown glass bottle and cork, facilitating exports to the Caribbean, India, America. Bordeaux enjoyed a prosperity that prompted advantageous Danish, English, Irish and Dutch to settle Chartrons dock and trading practice at the highest stage. This economic boom was halted by the French Revolution and the wars of the Empire. The arrival of Napoleon did not help things. This is a great lover of wines from Burgundy, it was not until his exile on St. Helena for the wine trade found its booming ...
