Alain Thiénot took over this old house, which deserves its place in the Top for a compelling price-performance ratio. To be sure, just lead this Champagne Charles VII crude Great vintage (45% Pinot Black, 10% Pinot Meunier and 45% Chardonnay ) a vintage distinguished and intense, vinous gently as it should, a Champagne powerful, dominant with almonds and honey, which combine roundness and distinction, a nice finish. The Charles VII pink color is deep fleshy on the palate, well structured , smelling of violets and cassis while fruit, while charming, thin mouth and floral, one of the best in the appellation , ideal with smoked salmon.
