In 1983, Domaine Bertagna was purchased by the family Günther Reh, who owns other wineries around the world. During the last decade, the Estate has been modernized through an extensive program of technical investments. The vinification place in respect of the Burgundian tradition while appealing to new techniques but specifically considered and adapted. The work of the vineyard is done continuously throughout the year. It is dictated by the growing cycle of the plant. The philosophy is based on the ecology therefore respect the natural balance. It requires the systematic use of refuse chemicals to preserve soils and the environment and promote the spontaneous development of clusters, indigenous yeast fermentation essential. The Vougeot Premier Cru Clos de la Perriere Monopoly 2007, limpid and brilliant, feels black fruits and smoky, with nuances on the palate with spices and licorice. In addition, the Domaine has transformed a portion of the property into a hotel, allowing guests to reside the heart of Burgundy.
