Founded in 1870 in Banyuls -sur-Mer, the domain of the Casa Blanca is one of the oldest Raw Banyuls and Collioure , located on the Vermilion Coast, Pyrenees-Orientales. 8 ha of old plantations and vineyards terraces, and Herve Laurent Escapa Levano give birth to wines generous, fully expressing the terroir shale: the Collioure (wine) and Banyuls (sweet wine natural). Since 2001, abandonment of synthetic herbicides and pesticides for treatment of the vine. Chemical fertilizers have been replaced with compost since 1989. Our house was founded in 1991 by Francois Legras-Haas. The vineyard belongs to the family: 15 ha Chouilly ( grand cru Chardonnay ), 10 ha in Vitry ( Chardonnay), 6 ha in the Riceys ( pinot noir). Remi and Olivier took over the family business and now are helped by Jerome. The house continued as a reasonable progression in France and abroad. The grand cru Chouilly offers potential custody while having young when a character fresh and light , appreciated as an aperitif. The 2002 Chardonnays are long, sweet and very aromatic with dominant aspects floral or fruity . The potential degree at harvest was 10.5% vol. The highest of these last 10 years. The wines structured and powerful. The
vintage Champagne Grand Cru White Vintage 2002, full, subtle and very fresh, fruity, combines roundness and finesse , mouth dominated by intense citrus fruit and Small dry, while aromatic persistence, a good length. The Ultra- crude is a vintage remarkable typed , elegant, great persistence, Champagne balanced of foam fine and creamy, with a beautiful harmony nose and palate, with aromas subtle flowers white, combining taste and distinction. Beautiful vintage Prestige Vieilles Vignes (2 / 3 grand cru Chardonnay Chouilly and third Ay pinot noir), a beautiful color gold, with aromas many of these fruits ripe, tasty wine at nose subtle and persistent, pretty foam, which has seduced us with its aromatic complexity. The White Grand Cru Vintage 2002, medal gold in world competition, with notes of good features white flowers and fruit dry (apricots, walnuts), is a Champagne bodied, harmonious palate, fragrant, excellent evolution. The crude pink is very successful, mouth fruity, a wine that smells like strawberry blackberry.
